Amaro Montenegro Italiano is an Italian liquor made from an infusion of a large number of herbs from all over the world mixed with pure alcohol. It's usually drunk after meals as a digestive. It will susprise you because it's sweet and bitter, sometimes syrupy.
TASTING NOTE
Transparent color and delicate texture that make it versatile and modern. Unmistakable fragance with bouquets of orange peel, fresh coriander, red cherries, tangerine and white pepper. In the mouth, we feel a sweet entry, then it becomes slightly bitter and aromatic.
PREPARATION
It was first produced in Bologna in 1885 after a lng series of experiments carried out by the famous Italian liquor producer Stanislao Cobianchi. It's made from the infusion of 40 plants and herbs with pure alcohol, some of them are vanila and orange peel.
CURIOSITY
'It is said that only after endless nights without sleep Stanislao Cobianchi gave birth to a very prestigious amaro: the Amaro Montenegro. It was made with 40 herbs infusion. Nowadays, the recipe is still a secret'.
