Amer Picon is a drink made of wine and distillates of this, gentian, quinine and other elements to spice and aromatize, together with some essences of plants originating from Algeria.
ORIGIN
Amer means "bitter" in French. Gaetan Picon, a Frenchman living in Philippeville (Belgium), proposed the formula of a bitter appetizer, flavored with gentian, quinine and orange peel, and the Amer Picon was born.
