Andeluna 1300 Malbec 2016 is a young red wine with monovarietal wood step, 100% Malbec from Tupungato.
TASTING NOTE
Intense violet color. Aromas of red fruits and diverse flowers, with subtle notes of toasted nuances. The palate is a fresh, smooth and balanced wine.
VINIFICATION
The grapes used are extracted entirely from the vineyards located in Tupugato, Mendoza at more than 1300m above sea level, an area that thanks to its great thermal amplitude allows to obtain wines of great intensity in its color and an important aromatic and structural expression . The vineyards chosen have an adequate irrigation management through the drip system that provides the exact amount of water needed by the plant. A canopy management is carried out with a yield per hectare of less than 10000kg. The clusters are characterized by having small grains and have adequate exposure to the sun to preserve the aromatic characteristics. Selection of grains manually. Pre-fermentative maceration at low temperatures. Fermentation by means of selected yeasts in stainless steel vessels at a controlled temperature that oscillates at 26ºC. Three daily remounts and one to two delestage per day. Later, the wine rests in barrels and then in the bottle.
AGING
Aging for a period of 6 months in French and American oak barrels and then continue to rest a minimum of 6 months in bottle.
ADVICE
Ideal to enjoy it right now but you can also stay in the bottle with great storage potential.
