Mascaró Ego is a brandy made with wine holandas of varieties of the Penedes. Matured in Limousin oak barrels for a minimum of 8 years.
ELABORATION
This brandy follows the method of double distillation, the holandas (wine distillate) of each variety and year are distilled and aged separately, using a manual technique that allows us to bring the own seal of Mascaró to our products.
The Brandy X.O. Ego ages a minimum of 8 years in Limousin oak barrels, in a process totally controlled by an oenologist of the Mascaró family.
The assembly operation or blend, the mixture of the different holandas, is handmade and allows to obtain a brandy very personal and appreciated.
TASTING NOTE
Old gold color with mahogany reflections. Aroma powerful, rich with fine nuances to vanilla, species and fine wood. Structured and of an interesting complexity. In the mouth it is powerful with creamy notes, toasted nuts and spicy background. Smooth and elegant finish, excellent balance and great persistence.
ADVICE
Drink it very cold and in small glass glasses.
