Clos Dominic Vinyes Altes is a red wine coupage of Grenache and Carignan from old coster vines.
TASTING NOTE
Color red cherry with garnet trim. High layer and dense and tinted tear. In the nose, medium intensity where at first we perceive mineral notes, black fruit, roasted and black pepper. When it is aerated in the glass its evolution is extraordinary, appearing notes of dark chocolate, cherries in liquor and roasted, integrating an aromatic set of class and very suggestive. It appears elegant and complex in the nose while in the mouth it has a good entrance, very roasted, unctuous, fleshy and tasty. Good structure, matured and tannins well melted and well integrated. Its acidity perfectly counteracts its alcoholic level, giving it a necessary sensation of freshness and balances it. Its end is long, fruity and mature.
AGING
Aged for 16 months in allier French oak barrels.
PAIRING
Ideal to accompany pork, cooked and braised legumes, Iberian ham.
