Clos Dominic Vinyes Baixes is a red wine coupage of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, and small quantities of Grenache, Carignan and Picapoll Ink are added from old vines.
TASTING NOTE
Dark red color with granatose edging. Tear thin and abundant ink. On the nose aromas of ripe red and black fruit, although the notes of liqueur, light notes of toilet soap, notes of coffee, well-marked and present toasted, spicy, balsamic notes, fine vanilla notes and soft mineral and ground notes. In the mouth has a powerful, astringent and very fruity. Barrel notes very marked with slightly rough tannins, bitter, acidity a little high, persistent. Long finish, slightly mineral aftertaste and floral retronasal.
AGING
Aged for 14 months in Allier French oak barrels of second and third year.
PAIRING
Ideal to accompany Iberian acorn ham, roasted lamb, duck, cured cheeses, grilled red meats and beef rices.
