Clos Figueres is a red wine coupage of Grenache and Carignan from an estate made up of coasts and terraces at an altitude of 400 meters.
TASTING NOTE
Intense red color with a vivid rim that still denotes youth. Clean and good tear formation. Intense bouquet of ripe and fresh red fruits with a floral ending. It is followed by some minty and smoky notes. Cheerful, expressive and light wine. It stands out for its elegance, complexity and finesse.
PREPARATION AND AGING
Manual harvest in boxes of 20kg. Once in the wine cellar, a second grape selection is done. Fermentation in opened barrels of 300 and 500 liters.Treatment of the pasta with daily "pigeage". Maceration for two weeks. Vertical press with a soft pressing. Aged in French oak barrels of 300-500 liters. The wine ages 14 months in new and one-year barrels.
