Doix is a black wine from Carignan (55%) and Grenache (45%) from centennial vineyards located in Costers de Llicorella.
TASTING NOTE
Pale red color of purple reflections. The nose is a fresh and attractive wine. Note pleasant notes of blueberries. Persistent and juicy. Elegant and delicate, it shows nuances of black fruit.
ELABORATION
Selection of grapes in the vineyard and at the entrance of the winery. Double manual selection table. Independent elaboration for the grapes of each plot. Fermentation with "submerged hat" system at controlled temperature.
AGING
Aged for 16 months in new French oak barrels with extra fine grain. Bottling without clarifying or filtering.
PAIRING
Ideal to accompany cured cheeses, meats, stews and roasts.
