Duaia is a red wine coupage of Syrah (30%), Grenache (50%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (20%) from vines located in the municipality of Gratallops with licorella soils.
TASTING NOTE
Dark cherry color very attractive. Clean and bright. On the nose balsamic notes and presence of fruit on a pleasant mineral background while in the mouth we appreciate a fruity and tasty wine. It presents balanced, good entry and with very good acidity.
VINIFICATION
When the grapes are already in the cellar, the grains go through a first destemming process after being slightly pressed. Afterwards, an alcoholic fermentation with autochthonous natural yeasts is carried out for 25 days. During this phase infusions of the skins are made.
AGING
Aged for 21 months in new oak barrels before bottling.
PAIRING
Ideal to accompany musaka, meat lasagna, duck confit, grilled chicken, game birds, lamb, rabbit or any type of meat.
PRODUCTION
Limited production of about 2,000 bottles per vintage which makes it a unique wine that only a lucky few can enjoy.
