Font de la Figuera is a white wine coupage of Viognier (65%), White Grenache (30%) and Chenin Blanco (5%).
TASTING NOTE
Pale gold color with green reflections that still denotes youth. Clean and bright. On the nose, intense bouquets of white and yellow fruits, with a background of freshly cut grass and an aniseed end. Fresh entrywith a great tour appearing yellow fruit like peaches or apricots and white fruit such as pear. Pleasant, spicy and mineral ending.
PREPARATION AND AGING
Manual harvest in boxes of 15kg. In the cellar,a second selection is done. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature and skin maceration for the Viognier. Fermentation in French oak barrels at a controlled temperature for the White Grenache. The wine is stored in stainless steel tanks for 6 months. Light filtration before bottling.
PAIRING
A pleasure as an aperitif. It's also a perfect wine for white fish, poultry and a variety of Mediterranean dishes with vegetables and vegetables including the typical "Escalivada" with anchovies, eggplants and red pepper.
