Frangelico is an authentic and refined liqueur made from the hills of the Piedmont region of northern Italy.
ELABORATION
With local hazelnuts a natural hazelnut distillate is created which will later be mixed with extracts and distillates of coconut seeds, vanilla pods and other flavoring preparations to create the Frangelico concentrate. This is mixed with pure alcohol, sugar and water to obtain the graduation for bottling. It is then allowed to stand in vats for approximately two months to allow the mixture to become whole and mature.
TASTING NOTE
Classic liquor of pale golden color transparent. In the nose it has an intense aroma of hazelnut and in the mouth, it has a rich texture. Intense but delicate hazelnut flavor with notes of vanilla and dark chocolate. Smooth and long finish with fragrant aftertaste.
SUGGESTION
Take after meals, with ice or as a complement to coffee. Although if you want maximum sophistication, serve with ice and a dash of lime for an intense and refreshing experience. It can also be combined with soda, orange juice, cola or ginger ale.
