Gratallops is a red wine Coupage of Grenache and Carignan coming from selected grapes from eight different plots properties of Álvaro Palacios wine cellar.
TASTING NOTE
Intense cherry red color. Clean and bright with dense tears and slow fall. It has a very attractive color. On the nose, we find a very intense, complex and seductive wine. It has a lot of fruit, it's fleshy and strong mixed with minerals. On the palate, it has great volume and long path. Silky and, at the same time, tasty with great structure. Intense juiciness, full of energy.
AGING
The must fermented at controlled temperature in small wooden vats with periodic shakings. It performed the malolactic fermentation in barrels. It rests in new French oak barrels for 18 months.
PAIRING
Perfect to join pork, grilled meats, stews, cheese and sausages.
RECOMMENDATION
Serve at a temperature between 16º and 18ºC. We recommend pouring the wine more than one hour before drinking.
