L'Abrunet Blanco 2023

L'Abrunet White is a monovarietal white wine, 100% White Grenache from Quart estate, produced by organic farming.

TASTING NOTE
Pale yellow with golden highlights. The nose is of good intensity, fresh and very varietal, notes of white fruit, tropical fruit, citrus notes, aniseed memories and minerality. The palate has good entry, fresh, light, fruity, good acidity, elegant and structured step, light bitter and end of half length. Light and fresh wine, good expression of white grenache.

VINIFICATION
In this wine the work in the field is very important. To be able to elaborate it, the different ripenings of the variety are played. Two harvests of the same strains are made. The first harvest around 11.50º, to get the own natural acidity of the grape and the freshest and citric notes of the variety. By removing part of the strain's load, the remaining grapes mature much better. Afterwards, the second part of the grape is collected with an alcoholic degree of about 14º. Then the two parts come together. Thus, it is achieved that the wine has the maximum expression of the variety, Yin and Yang of the Garnacha Blanca. A wine that is not clarified or stabilized to express the purest aromas.
