La Guineu d'Argent Red Wine is a limited edition Red Wine, Coupage of Grenache (20%) and Carignian (80%).
TASTING NOTE
Intense cherry color with a bit of mahogany. On the nose, it's very fresh with a good balance of red fruits in which the lactic tones melt with the ripe fruit. In the mouth, it's light, but filling the palate with balanced flavors. We feel the fruit bouquets and the fine tannins.
PREPARATION AND AGING
Handmade grape harvest and selection in boxes of 15kg with a following thermal process of 5ºC. Constant temperature of 25ºC and computer controlled in a single 50Hl tank. "Pigeage" and skins' maceration for 20 and 25 days. Malolactic in tanks. The pressure of the press is reduced to extend the pressing. Despite the fact of being a Young Wine, it rests on its stainless steel tanks. Clarified with potato and bottling by decantation respecting the moon phases.
PAIRING
It's perfect to join with cold meat, grilled meat or mature cheese.
