La Guineu d'Argent White Wine is a limited edition wine, Coupage of Macabeo and White Grenache.
TASTING NOTE
Light and bright wine with straw color refllections and slight golden tones due to the skins' maceration. On the nose, it's fresh and fruity with a good balance bouquets of green fruits such as apple and pear over a slight bouquet of peach and banana. In the moutgh is intense filling the palate with balanced flavors. It's voluptuous despite the fact that it's a young wine. The end is long and persistent.
PREPARATION AND AGING
Handmade grape harvest and selection in boxes of 15kg with a following thermal process of 5ºC. A constant temperature of 15ºC separating the two varieties in different tanks. A separately monovarietal fermentation has been done in order to extract the characteristic bouquets of the White Grenache and the Macabeo. As a result a more attractive and aromatic classic Coupage. Despite the fact of being a young wine, it's elegant and delicate. The White Grenache has fermented with its skins for 15 days. Meanwhile, the Macabeo has been pressed in order to separate the must from the skins. Clarified with pea protein. Bottling by decantation respecting the moon phases.
