La Placeta Redis a red wine coupage of Grenache (65%) and Syrah (35%) from old vines worked through organic farming and limited production in the Guiamets area.
TASTING NOTE
Intense red color accompanied by violet nuances. The color layer is medium-high. Abundant tear formation and slow fall. On the nose it is a clean and very pleasant wine with different aromatic sensations. Its character mainly of touches of black cherry and blackberry jam, add sotabosque aromas (rosemary mainly) and touches of coffee and chocolate. We found a good entry in the mouth, then, we appreciate that it is a wine with body, volume and unctuousness, here you can see the work on the lees. With a very correct acidity and a round mouth finish, thanks to the smoothness of its tannin. Finally, through the retronasal, we recover the fruit described in the nose, leaving a very balanced final sensation.
ELABORATION
Manual harvest. Maceration and fermentation of the two grape varieties separately. Subsequently, It pass through stainless steel for 4 or 5 months with its lees.
