Les Crestes is a red wine blend of Grenache, Carignan and Syrah from vineyards grown exclusively on costers of slate Llicorella.
TASTING NOTE
Very attractive purple color. Clean and bright. On the nose, it has intense and aromatic bouquets of fruit and toasted nuances that add up to the end. An expressive and tasty wine of good entry and excellent acidity. Long and persistent ending with mineral and balsamic memories.
ELABORATION
Selection of the grapes in the vineyard and at the entrance of the winery. Double manual selection table. Independent elaboration for the grapes of each plot. Fermentation with "submerged hat" system at controlled temperature.
AGING
Aged for 8 months in French oak barrels of extra fine grain. Bottling without clarifying or filtering.
PAIRING
Perfect to join with grilled red meats, stews, red meats with sauce, sausages and cured cheeses.
