M'ho has dit an ocellet is a red wine coupage of Grenache and Carignan from Mas d'en Perí.
TASTING NOTE
Cherry color with violet tones of bright black prune. Tears slowly dripping down the glass when you move it. On the nose, red fruit, forest fruits, specially ripe blackberry. On the palate, it has a extreme silkiness. We find the stocky Grenache united with a strict Carignan. The union make a sweet spot.
FERMENTATION AND AGING
Fermentation of two varieties separately, treading the grape with the feet as it was done in the past in the Priorat. Very short maceration of the whole grapes and a soft pressing. Aged for 6 months in stainless stell and then it's bottled.
MAS D'EN PERÍ
Estate located north of Porrera. It has 16ha divided between vineyard and forest. From the vineyard there are 2,5ha of Carignan and 1,5ha of Grenache par excellence from Priorat. The rest is forest, except 3ha that are prepared for new plants illusions. The lowest part of the farm is about 320km and the highest part at about 800km with slopes that exceed 30%. The llicorella is the most abundant type of soil, but there are also argilian zones and a very special zone with conglomerates. The vinya has been planted for more than 15 years on terraces of two fileras that follow the sinuous curves of the Priorat landscape forming an amphitheater.
