L'Efecte Volador is a young red wine blend of Grenache, Carignan and Syrah from old vines of Llicorella and Sauló. This wine follows the guidelines of organic farming resulting wine is very expressive.
TASTING NOTE
Brilliant color, with hints of purple and violet. Delicate aroma accentuated by black fruits marked by black fruit. Fresh fruits which remind of ripe cherries. Distinct firestone notes, hints of smoke, ash and graphite. The barrel’s slight contribution is a spicy background incorporated into the wine in an almost imperceptible manner.
AGING
50% of ageing was carried out during 4 months in barrels made of French oak, and the remaining 50% was left in the cement deposits in order to maintain all of its fruitful expression. After the aging, the final blend is done and let stand a short time to round this wine.
