Les Cousins l'Inconscient 2011 is a blend of Carignan, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. Afther the manual harvest, and once the grapes are desteemed, the fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks followed by a short 15-20 day maceration. It is pressed and aged for 12 months in 7000 L. French oak barrels. This is the moment which the blend is determined. This red wine is left to stand for three monts in steel tanks before being bottled
Tasting note:
Cherry colour with violet reflections and light ruby red edges. Clean and bright. Dense and abundant tears
Medium-high intensity nasal aromas. Initially, the milky aromas melt with the notes of red fruit and remind us of strawberry yoghurt. They give way to toasted, smoked and mineral notes.
It is direct at the attack and shows a good, light and silky mid palate. A well-bodied wine with a good tannic sensation and a refreshing acidity. Long finish with a marked persistence. A joyful, casual and lively red wine.
