Malleolus is a monovarietal red wine, 100% Tinto Fino or Tempranillo from old vines.
TASTING NOTE
Ripe cherry red color. It stands out for the intensity and quality of the sensations it offers, from the aromas of concentrated black fruit to the mature and sweet potent tannin that fills our mouths, where the integration between fruit and wood produces a great balance. The palate is a powerful wine, silky and enveloping where the fruity base with shades of wood.
VINIFICATION AND AGING
Made with grapes from the 100% Tinto Fino variety, the wine has been macerated with the skins for 18 days. After malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels, it is aged for 18 months in Allier French oak barrels until bottling.
PAIRING
Ideal to accompany red meats, stews, sausages and cured cheeses.
RECOGNITIONS
Malleolus is one of the most awarded wines internationally and accumulates numerous gold medals. In 2015 it was included in the "Top 100 Wines" list of Wine Enthusiast magazine in 65th place.
