Clos Abella is a red wine coupage of Grenache (70%) and Carignan (30%) from old vines.
TASTING NOTE
Complex aromas with black fruits and fresh red fruit, slate, graphite and thyme. In the mouth it is tasty, elegant and very long.
VINIFICATION
The vinification is carried out separately from the different plots, taking into account the varieties, orientation and altitude. Much of the parcels ferment directly in Darnajou 225L barrel. Later it matures during a period in barrel according to the variety, later to prepare the definitive coupage and a rest never inferior to the 18 months.
AGING
Aged for 20-24 months in French oak barrels and a minimum of 24 months of rest in the bottle.
