Loidana is a red wine blend of Grenache and Carignan, two native grapes from the Priorat, and a light touch of Cabernet Sauvignon.
TASTING NOTE
Red cherry color with ruby, clean and bright reflections. In the nose it has notes of red fruits and black berries, with delicate notes of spices. Smooth entry, stays harmonious to the end. It is a balanced wine, fresh, tasty, long and persistent.
ELABORATION
Manual harvesting. The vinification is done separately according to the variety, and even of each plot so as to better shape the terroir from which they come. The first fermentation and the macerations are made in deposits. Malolactic fermentation and aging are carried out in French oak barrels also separately. After all this process, the final coupage is carried out and bottled, resting some time in the bottle to finish rounding it.
AGING
Aged for 16 months in French oak barrels.
PAIRING
Its freshness and its youth make it a perfect wine for any circumstance, it combines especially well with birds and pastas.
