Mas Mallola is a red wine coupage of Grenahce (70%) and Carignan (30%) from La Mallola estate.
TASTING NOTE
Intense and mature aroma where we perceive raspberry, blueberry and plum, cardamom, cinnamon, chocolate and toasted. The palate is intense, silky and fresh. It came with a character marked by the blackboard and with darker and deeper notes.
VINIFICATION
It is made only with grapes from the La Mallola plot. The vinification is carried out separately from the different subplots of the Mallola vineyard, taking into account the varieties, the orientation and the altitude. The fermentation of the different microvinifications is carried out by different methods, both in cement cube, as in wooden barrel or some integral directly in the 225L barrel. Once all the wines are made, they are aged separately for a period of time and then mature in the bottle.
AGING
Aged for 12-15 months in French oak boots and finally matured in the bottle for a minimum of 9 months.
PAIRING
Ideal to accompany rice, chicken curry, stews, various meats ...
