Marqués de Cáceres Crianza is a red wine aged coupage Tempranillo (85%), Red Grenache (10%) and Graciano (5%) from vineyards located in Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa.
TASTING NOTE
Ruby brilliant tonalities. In the nose aromas of red fruit stand out, fresh with spicy touches and soft toasted that give depth. Long, persistent, intense in the mouth. Their juicy tannins merge into a friendly plot. A wine of enjoyment.
VINIFICATION
Clusters crushed and destemmed. Alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature that starts at 10ºC until reaching 28ºC. Maceration with the skins prolonged up to 20 days, in order to extract more color, aromas and tannic structure. Malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrel or in stainless steel tank, according to the wine batches. Once the malolactic fermentation is finished, all the wines go to casks with racking every 6 months.
AGING
12 months in French (60%) and American (40%) French oak barrels. After 1 minimum year of refining in the bottle before the launch date.
