Mas de la Rosa Vi Finca is an aging red wine made 100% from Carignan grapes from a single estate called Mas de la Rosa. It is the flagship wine of Celler Vall Llach
TASTING NOTE
Color pillory. The nose is intense, elegant and complex with a pleasant tour. Aromas of black and red fruit and hints of chocolate, minerals, rose petals and forest. It has a delicate but very nice nose. The palate has a fresh entrance with excellent acidity. Volume and very good concentration. It is a powerful, deep and elegant wine. very long and mineral finish. It is a wine to taste with pleasure and slowly.
VINIFICATION
Fermenting grapes in wooden barrels and stainless steel tanks. Cold maceration for 3 days, fermentation at a controlled temperature between 25° and 29° C for 17-19 days with daily punching down and remounted soft. 12-day post-fermentation maceration followed by a gentle pressing. 50% malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks and 50% in barrels is done.
AGING
The wine is aged in new French oak with light roasted and medium and fine grain. One racking is performed during the aging of 16 months.
PAIRING
Ideal to take alone or with foie gras, cheese or black chocolate.
