Pago de Carraovejas Crianza is a red wine blend of Tinto Fino (83%), Cabernet Sauvignon (12%) and Merlot (5%) from old vineyards located outside Peñafiel. They are calcareous soils of red clay.
TASTING NOTE
Color red purple. Bright and thin tear. Intense nose. Roasted aromas of aging, gradually giving way to ripe red fruit. In the mouth it has a delicate and elegant entrance, silky step and marked by the ripe red fruit. Good acidity. Nice bittersweet for a long and persistent finish.
AGING
Aging for 12 months in selected barrels of extra-fine grain of French and American oak and then continue their rest until 24 months in bottle, before going on the market.
