Pétalos del Bierzo is a red wine monovarietal, Mencia grape, coming from old vineyards of slate floors located in slopes. The strains are of low yield, which makes the fruit is of great quality.
TASTING NOTE
Dull and dark cherry red color. In the nose is a wine of great aromatic intensity with aromas of black fruit, smoky notes and very powerful roasted. Soft mouth filling that caresses the palate. Elegant, greedy and mineral. Medium body and good persistence.
AGING
Aged for 10 months in French oak barrels. Before being bottled it is filtered and clarified.
PAIRING
Ideal to take with complex salads, vegetables, mushrooms, sausages, goat and cow cheeses.
