Piper Heidsieck Cuvée Brut is a French champagne blend of Pinot Noir (50%), Meunier (30%), and Chardonnay (20%) produced by the Maison Piper-Heidsieck winery with AOC Champagne.
TASTING NOTES
Light golden color with bright sparkles. A grand dance of perfect and delicate bubbles in the glass. On the nose, notes of fresh almond and hazelnut accompany the rising bubbles. It is lively, subtle, and light, leaving a delicious sensation of softness marked by the purity of apple and pear along with a brief hint of citrus fruits. Very balanced on the palate, this very fresh sparkling wine displays notes of white fruit and citrus, along with hints of nuts. It is elegant and harmonious.
PRODUCTION
Grapes from more than 100 different crus, carefully selected to create this expressive champagne, a reflection of its terroir. This Champagne is made with the appellation's three classic varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. The Pinot Noir variety is the brand's signature, with flavors of forest fruits, quince, and crusty bread. Refined, elegant, and distinctive, it lends structure, power, and balance to the wines. In the early 2000s, Regis Campus, the cellar master, decided to expand the sources that nourish the Champagne House, using Pinot Noirs from the Côte des Bar area. A bold choice that has shaped the new personality of Champagne.
