+ Ritme del Priorat is a blend of white Grenache and Macabeo from old grape vinesm grown in different areas of the Priorat Denomination of Origin. All of the vineyards chosen feature licorella rich soils, that contain black slate, and that are typical of the Priorat region. The harvest was realized by hand and the winery selected only the best grapes for this wine. The selected grapes received a two day pre-fermentation maceration to extract the full characteristics of their varietal. This wine had two different fermentation processes, with one-third of the wine being fermented in new French oak barrels for three months while the remaining two-thirds was fermented in stainless steel deposits. After this process the two liquids were mixed to realize the final coupage. This wine was then aged for eleven months in its lees.
Tasting note
Intense aromatics with predominate fruit core and white flower aromas. There are also delicate vanillas aromatics, a hint of citrus, and mineral aromas present in this nose.
This wine has a well-balanced palate that is elegant and silky. There is pleasant acidity and a long and leaves a complex aftertaste. The retronasal olfaction qualities in this wine push citrus notes through the palate along with white fruits that are entwined with subtle aromatic wooden notes.
