Riu is a red wine blend of Grenache (45%), Carignan (45%) and a small percentage of Syrah (10%) from vines located in costers.
TASTING NOTE
Cherry cherry color with violet tones. Abundant tear. In nose fruity aromas very seductive and vegetables not very intense. In the mouth is a tasty, structured but sweet wine, with fresh fruit and a tip of acidity. The aftertaste is balsamic and the retronasal rather outlined and slightly fruity.
AGING
Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels of one or two wines.
PAIRING
Ideal to accompany stews, rices of meat, sausages, risottos, roasted red meats, Iberian ham of acorn, cheeses of sheep, mussaka, etc.
