Scala Dei Prior is a red wine coupage of Grenache, Carignan, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah from different carefully selected plots located in costers.
TASTING NOTE
Ruby red color and violet tones. Clean and bright. A wine with an aromatic intensity in which the notes of red and black fruits stand out. Also appear spicy and toasted notes characteristic of its passage by barrel as well as a marked minerality of background. It is a red wine with body and very well structured. I pass through tasty and silky mouth. It has a good load of fruit. Long and persistent finish.
AGING
Aged for about 12 months in new barrels and one year of French oak (80%) and American (20%). Subsequently it rests in the last instance a minimum of 4 months in bottle.
PAIRING
Ideal for accompanying sausages, grilled red meats, chocolate and Iberian acorn ham.
