Terras Gauda is an excellent white wine of Albariño (70%), Loureiro (18%) and Blanco Caiño (12%), indigenous varieties that combine and complement each other perfectly with the main variety that is the Albariño.
VARIETIES
The Albariño contributes to the mixture with its fruit aromas and volume in the mouth. The Loureiro provides good floral aromatic intensity and the Caiño offers the mixture exotic fruit aromas, balsamic and most important, great structure and uniqueness.
TASTING NOTE
Straw yellow color with soft golden highlights. Clean and very bright. In the nose it is clean and expressive with a high aromatic intensity in which its notes of white fruit and citrus stand out. To them are added floral and herbaceous aromas. In the mouth it is unctuous, with a marked acidity, integrated and crunchy.
The combination of varieties is surprising. It is a wine of great complexity where the fusion of the aromas of apricot, ripe melon, orange peel and orange flowers are sustained with subtle mineral memories and notes of mint and eucalyptus. In the mouth it is structured and unctuous with something of meatiness that give the mineral touches and its acidity. It offers an intense, pleasant and long finish in the mouth.
VINIFICATION
After a cold maceration of different length according to the varieties, the fermentation will be at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks. After adding natural yeasts extracted from the vineyards themselves, the wine stabilizes in cold, filtered and finally bottled.
PAIRING
Ideal wine to accompany seafood (oysters, clams and crabs), Asian cuisine, white meats and rice.
