The Glenrothes 18 años

The Glenrothes 18 years is a Single Malt scotch whiskey that is part of the Soleo collection, paying homage to the Jerez artisans as it ages in oak barrels where it has previously aged Sherry Jerez.

TASTING NOTE
Natural dark gold color with amber reflections. On the nose we find a striking whiskey with notes of dark chocolate and coffee and as it opens there are fruity and spicy notes like sweet vanilla, pear and fresh ginger. The palate is mellow and with good body where first we perceive soft notes that give way to more spicy notes. A complex and round expression in all its senses.

ELABORATION
Distilled in traditional copper wires and raised only in oak barrels, wrapped with Oloroso de Jerez for 18 years, in a large proportion of first fill.

PAIRING
Ideal to take alone in the after-dinner or to accompany quality cheeses and chocolates.
