Venta las Vacas is a red wine varietal, 100% Tinta Fina or Tempranillo from some young vineyards located in the town of Burgos.
TASTING NOTE
Garnet color with violet reflections. On the nose we find a fruity wine where we perceive blueberries and black cherries, all wrapped with a delicious and elegant perfume of spices such as vanilla and a point of toasting and well integrated wood. In the mouth, rich and complex wine, powerful and round. Silky entry with flavors of juicy red fruits.
ELABORATION
Manual harvest made in October. Cold pre-maceration for 5 days at 12ºC for subsequent vinification in stainless steel tanks of 16,000 liters and fermentation in barrels.
AGING
It ages 12 months in French (40%) and American (60%) new oak barrels with different toasting rates. Two racking is carried out during the aging in contact with the fine lees.
