Vi de Vila Bellmunt Tinto red wine is a blend of Grenache, Carignan and Cabernet Sauvignon from old vines planted on a terroir of llicorella.
TASTING NOTE
Cherry red. Clean and bright. fine tear. It is a wine with a very expressive and intense but well-defined nose. Aromas of ripe red fruits in the beginning give way to toasty aromas accompanied by memories of mountain. Background minerality of the terroir feature appears. The palate has a strong entry, with volume and a silky and enveloping journey. Its excellent acidity adds freshness. It is a balanced wine with a long finish. Fruity aftertaste, balsamic and minty.
ORIGIN
It is made with grapes from the plots of the Valley of Bellmunt, where grenache and carignan predominate. It is classified as Vi de Vila, meaning it is a wine made in a cellar located in the municipality of Bellmunt del Priorat and from plots of vineyards located within the same municipality.
AGING
This wine is aged for 10 months in barrels and then in bottle for about 12 months.
